According to recent reports from the British Insurance Brokers Association (Biba), those drivers interested in saving the world through greener car choices could also save money . Greener cars, the association say, could also benefit from cheaper car insurance .
Graeme Trudgill, the technical and corporate affairs executive at the group reportedly said that road tax reductions could accompany the car insurance savings . By driving a more environmentally-friendly car, Trudgill said, car insurance costs could be reduced.
Trudgill reported said: "People are looking, especially at the moment with the credit crunch, at what the most affordable methods of transport are."
