Banking customers in the north-west have been alerted to the prospect of greater accessibility to financial services following a Yorkshire Building Society announcement.
This autumn, the financial services provider has announced that it will be formally opening three new branches in Warrington, Chester and Oldham.
All of the new sites will feature specialist advisors giving guidance on financial services such as mortgages, savings and share investments.
The additional branches come as part of Yorkshire Building Society's long-term commitment towards expanding its high street presence - a strategy that will see 15 new sites opened in the next three years.
Iain Cornish, chief executive of the financial services provider, has explained why the branch strategy will benefit banking customers.
"Many of our customers value the personal service and face-to-face advice they get in a branch and we are delighted that we will be able to offer these services to the people of Warrington, Chester and Oldham," he said.
As a high street banking services provider, Yorkshire Building offers a range of products including mortgage and insurance deals.
It competes in the same sector as Nationwide Building Society, Skipton Building Society and Britannia Building Society.
