Polish immigrants who are looking to find tailored banking information before deciding which financial services provider to choose may be interested to learn about a new initiative.
Financing website The Motley Fool is attempting to provide Poles with a comprehensive portal that describes all of the specialist banking services offered by HSBC, Barclays, NatWest and Lloyds TSB.
Among the products explored, the financing portal highlights which banking institutions offer tailored money transfer services, credit cards, mortgages and personal loans.
And Katarzyna Kopacz of the Polish Times has indicated that the development could potentially benefit many Polish banking customers.
"I think this initiative will be very useful for the Polish community around the UK as there are a lot of Poles who don't have very good English and this will help them a lot," she said.
Poland joined the EU three years ago in a move that led to immigration restrictions being relaxed between the eastern European country and the UK.
On January 1st 2007, meanwhile, Bulgaria and Romania officially joined the European community, raising the prospect of a fresh influx of foreign workers seeking UK banking services.
