Firm launches web-based debt management

An international credit management company has invented a system that will help companies to recover money they are owed.

Credit Services Europe Ltd, under the name of Shadow <http://www.shadow.eu.com/>, is pioneering a new debt collection service, which aims to help customer service and collection performance.

Up until now many businesses have relied on extra staff and debt recovery agencies to get back what is owed.

However, Shadow's system is a 24 hours a day, online service which does not need to sleep or takes breaks, thus speeding up recovery of debts.

"It is accurate to say that we are introducing new services that are shaping credit management activities," boasts Shadow's marketing director, Brian Robinson.

"Firms will no longer need to buy and maintain complex systems, processes and large debt collection departments," he explained.

"They can simply access all the services they require via the internet and pay for only the services they select and use."

The service means that companies can track down debtors and then use Shadow's outsourced collections staff to retrieve the debt.

However, Robinson insists: "This is not all about finding and forcing debtors to meet their obligations: it is about improving the efficiency and convenience of the whole credit management process by using the new tools available via the internet."
